Daal Dodke / Ridge Gourd Recipe- A Maharashtrian Dish
This vegetarian dish is dry. It is very tasty when it is dry. Some people wants gravy but this is a dry dish. You really loved it. It is a Maharashtrian Dish. In this post you will learn about Daal Dodka Sabji.
All Ingredients for Daal Dodke / Ridge Gourd Recipe:
- Dodke (Ridge Gourd)
- Chana Daal (Split Chikpeas)
- 2 Onion
- 2 Tomatoes
- Onion Leaves (Optional)
- 3 Table Spoon Oil
- 5-6 Garlic Pieces
- 3 Big Spoon Chili Powder
- 1 Small Spoon Turmeric
- 1 Big Spoon Jeera Powder (Cumin Seeds Powder)
- Salt
How to make it?
- Soak the lentils for Two Hours.
- Chopped the Onion, Tomato and Ridge Gourd.
- Now Heat the oil in Pan.
- Put the Chopped Onion and make it golden brown.
- Then put the Red Chili Powder, Salt, Turmeric, Cumin Seed Powder.
- Then add Tomato. Wait for 3 min
- Now, add Chana Daal (Split Chikpea) and Chopped Ridge Gourd.
- Mix well and add water if you want some Gravy.
- But this recipe is for Dry Sabji. It is very tasty when it is dry.
- Now your Dish is ready to serve.
